TELEVISION — 50 CENT’S DIDDY DOCUMENTARY WINS EMMY

The 50 Cent-produced Netflix documentary series “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” is officially an Emmy-winning production.

Date: September 7, 2026

The four-part series won Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 5.

The award recognized supervising editors Charles Divak and Evan Wise, lead editor Jack Gravina and editors Adam Goldstein, Jonathan Miller, Jeremy Siefer and Benji Kast.

“Sean Combs: The Reckoning” received three Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series and Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson executive-produced the Netflix project, which examined Sean “Diddy” Combs’ career, public controversies and legal downfall through archival footage and interviews.

Jackson celebrated the series’ victory on social media while responding to critics who had questioned whether his personal history with Combs affected the documentary’s approach.

Although frequently described online as “50 Cent’s Emmy,” the picture-editing award officially belongs to the editors recognized by the Television Academy.
