Apple has officially introduced its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo.
Date: September 10, 2026
The device features a 5.4-inch exterior display and unfolds into a 7.6-inch interior screen designed for entertainment, multitasking and side-by-side applications.
Apple equipped the Duo with its A20 Pro processor, a titanium frame, two 48-megapixel rear cameras and Touch ID integrated into the side button.
The phone will be available in Star White and Night Sky. The base version includes 256GB of storage and starts at $1,999. The highest-priced 2TB configuration reaches $3,199.
Apple says the device was designed to reduce the visible crease commonly associated with foldable screens while maintaining water and dust resistance.
Preorders begin October 16, and the iPhone Duo is scheduled to arrive October 23.
