SPORTS BUSINESS — RIC FLAIR FILES $10M DIGITAL-IDENTITY SUIT

Wrestling legend Ric Flair has filed a $10 million lawsuit involving control of his name, image and likeness.

Date: September 9, 2026

Flair is suing digital talent agency FAM Networks, alleging the company misled him into signing an agreement granting extensive and potentially permanent rights to his identity.

According to the complaint, Flair was given approximately 14 minutes to review the contract and was allegedly led to believe that he had appropriate legal representation.

Flair claims he was promised six-figure monthly earnings from the partnership. He alleges those earnings never materialized and says he has lost approximately $250,000 in potential income since signing the agreement.

The lawsuit seeks at least $10 million in damages and challenges the company’s alleged control over Flair’s social-media accounts and digital likeness.

FAM Networks had not publicly responded when the action was initially reported. Flair’s claims remain allegations unless established through a judgment or settlement.
