Macklemore’s music reportedly saw a sharp streaming increase after he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s tour lineup.
Date: September 17, 2026
His catalog rose approximately 97% in daily streams as coverage of the decision spread online.
The largest gains reportedly came from politically charged songs. “Hind’s Hall” climbed from roughly 5,000 daily plays to about 87,000, while its sequel rose from fewer than 2,000 to more than 22,000.
The broader catalog approached two million daily streams during the surge.
The numbers reflect increased attention following controversy; they do not by themselves indicate long-term commercial growth.
