T-Pain is taking Konvict Entertainment back to court over nearly $500,000 in allegedly unpaid royalties.
Date: September 9, 2026
The lawsuit was filed September 4 in Fulton County Superior Court. T-Pain, whose legal name is Faheem Rashad Najm, alleges Konvict received approximately $1.3 million from a distributor for music sales during the second half of 2025.
T-Pain says his agreements entitle him to 75% of the net royalties Konvict receives from distributors for his record sales.
According to the complaint, Konvict paid him $489,047 in June but did not deliver another $489,047 that he maintains is still owed.
This is the second royalty lawsuit T-Pain has filed against the company. His earlier case, filed in 2018, was settled in 2025 for $114,000 without Konvict admitting liability.
The latest allegations have not been decided in court. Konvict Entertainment had not publicly answered the new complaint when it was initially reported.
