Webbie suffered a frightening medical episode while performing alongside longtime collaborator Boosie BadAzz in Dallas.
Date: September 7, 2026
The Baton Rouge rappers were performing their Southern hip-hop classic “Wipe Me Down” at the Winspear Opera House on Saturday, September 5, when Webbie appeared to lose consciousness and fell onstage.
Members of the performance crew immediately rushed to his side and helped escort him backstage. Video of the incident spread rapidly across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X.
Numerous social-media accounts claimed Webbie experienced a seizure. However, neither Webbie’s representatives nor medical professionals have publicly confirmed what caused the collapse.
The concert celebrated the 20th anniversaries of Boosie’s “Bad Azz” and Webbie’s “Savage Life,” two projects central to Baton Rouge’s influence on Southern rap.
Webbie experienced another onstage medical emergency in 2021. His representatives disputed seizure reports connected to that earlier incident and said the exact cause was unclear.
Concrete Echo TV will update this report if Webbie or his representatives release an official statement.
