PlayStation Network services have been restored following a widespread outage that disrupted online gaming and essential account features.
Date: July 29, 2026
The July 24 outage affected account management, gaming and social features, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct. Players across multiple platforms reported difficulty signing in, accessing games and using online services.
Most PSN services returned after roughly eight hours, although the PlayStation Store continued experiencing problems temporarily while the rest of the network recovered.
The timing also disrupted players attempting to access the open beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Sony’s current network-status page reports that its services are operational.
