Another Grand Theft Auto VI leak has disrupted Rockstar Games’ carefully controlled rollout days before the game’s next official presentation.
Date: August 25, 2026
Unauthorized gameplay clips marked with the name “CyberLeek” began circulating online ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look.
Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive responded by obtaining DMCA subpoenas seeking account information from Microsoft and Discord. The company is attempting to identify the person or group responsible for distributing material it says infringes its copyrights.
The subpoenas were filed August 20, with Microsoft and Discord reportedly asked to provide available records by September 4. The alleged leaker has claimed access to a playable build, but that claim has not been independently verified.
Rockstar’s official plans remain unchanged. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix August 27 at 3 p.m. ET before becoming available through Rockstar’s official YouTube channel.
GTA VI remains scheduled for release November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Concrete Echo TV is not hosting or linking to the unauthorized footage.
