Macklemore says he will no longer appear on the remaining United States dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour.
Date: September 15, 2026
The decision followed Macklemore’s September 4 appearance at MetLife Stadium, where he made pro-Palestinian remarks and performed “Hind’s Hall” alongside images showing destruction in Gaza.
Macklemore said he and Sheeran held a series of difficult conversations following the performance. Tour promoter Messina Touring Group said multiple venues refused to host concerts that included Macklemore.
Sheeran has not publicly addressed the decision. Macklemore said his position concerning Palestinian human rights remains unchanged.
