A second suspect has been indicted in the investigation into the killing of Patrick Houston Jr., the 21-year-old son of Memphis rapper Project Pat.

Jermiesia Franklin reportedly faces two counts of first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with or fabricating evidence. Authorities allege that Franklin shot Houston and took his phone.
Franklin was reportedly 16 when Houston was found fatally shot in Memphis on January 10, 2025. She is being held on a $5 million bond.
Another defendant, Talia Jones, was arrested in Minnesota in July 2025 and faces aggravated-robbery and evidence-tampering charges. All charges remain allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
