Rod Wave has returned to the top of the Billboard 200 with his latest album, “Don’t Look Down.”

Date: September 8, 2026

The project debuted at No. 1 with 99,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during its opening week, according to Billboard and Luminate.

Streaming activity reportedly accounted for most of the album’s first-week performance.

“Don’t Look Down” becomes Rod Wave’s fourth project to reach No. 1. His previous chart-topping albums are “SoulFly,” “Beautiful Mind” and “Nostalgia.”

The achievement continues an impressive run for the St. Petersburg, Florida, artist, whose emotional combination of rap, R&B and Southern soul has developed a large and loyal audience.
