DaBaby is expanding beyond music with the opening of No Knife Chicken & Waffles in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The restaurant held its grand opening Sunday, September 6, at 700 Atando Avenue in north Charlotte. Customers reportedly formed long lines as the new establishment welcomed the public.
No Knife Chicken & Waffles is promoted as a refined Southern comfort-food experience. Its menu centers on different combinations of fried chicken and specialty waffles.
DaBaby previously built attention for the concept by sharing cooking videos and recipes through social media. The Charlotte-raised rapper has remained involved with the restaurant’s development, although he is not serving as its head chef.
The opening marks his first major venture into Charlotte’s restaurant industry and gives the artist another business directly connected to his hometown.
