Kendrick Lamar and SZA are making history with their chart-topping hit “Luther,” which just hit its 11th consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track now ties the record for most weeks atop the chart by a male-female duet, matching Diddy and Faith Evans’ 1997 classic “I’ll Be Missing You.”
It’s the longest-running No. 1 single for both Kendrick and SZA—and that’s not their only major milestone.
The duo’s “Grand National” tour, launched last month in Minneapolis, is smashing records too. The opening night alone grossed over $9.1 million from 47,000 fans, making it the highest-grossing hip-hop concert of all time—surpassing Eminem’s 2019 Melbourne show.
The North American tour continues through major cities like Seattle, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Los Angeles, before heading to the UK and Europe in July, with stops in Cologne, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and more.
Meanwhile, SZA is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look with her lighthearted tour vlogs, captioning one recent post:
“TEXAS YALL HAD SO MUCH ENERGY IT WAS AN HONORRR 🫡... Atlanta vlog up NEXT! YEE HAWWWW.”
